South Korea
South Korea is in Korea peninsula, in Asia.
This country has more than 3000 islands, but most of them are unihanited. Jeju, Ullung and Tsushima are the most important islands. The peninsula is between the Japan Sea and Yellow Sea.
In South Korea, there are 4 rivers: Han, Nakdong, Hatan and Imjin. The most important one is the Nakdong.

ECONOMY OF SOUTH KOREA
South Korea is a democratic republic, with a liberal system. In this system, the state intervenes as little as possible. It is also very easy to create companies. But the downside of it, there are many social inequalities. South Korea's economy has grown rapidly since the 1950s. Today is the 12th largest economy in the world and is a developped country according to the UN, World Bank and International Monetary Fund.

Illegal whaling is widespread in Korea. South Korea has allowed the marketing of whale meat obtained through bycatch or natural deaths, that is, animals that get caught in fishing nets or found dead on the coast.

For the few dimensions of the country, each farmer can only have 0.89 hectares cultivated. About 22% of the surface can be consumed. The cultivation of exotic fruits is also well advanced thanks to hydroponics crops.
